About Libot

Libot (Filipino for "to tour around") helps guests discover resorts, villas, transient houses, hotels, and other places to stay across the Philippines.

Many Philippine resorts and transient houses only have a presence on Facebook. That makes them invisible to search engines and hard to find for travelers who don't know exactly what to look for. Libot bridges that gap — we bring these places onto the open web where anyone can find them through a simple search.

How we source listings

Every listing on Libot is added by hand. We build each entry from information an establishment has already made public on its official Facebook page — its name, location, photos, contact details, and description. Nothing is scraped in bulk or generated automatically, and each listing is reviewed before it goes live.

We publish first so that guests can find these places today, and we welcome establishments to get in touch. If you own or manage a place listed here and would like to update its details or have it removed, we act on every request — use the removal link on the listing, or contact us.

For establishments that want them, we also visit in person to capture free 360° virtual tours, so guests can walk through a place before they reach out. There are no booking fees and no middlemen — Libot simply connects guests with establishments directly.

Libot is an independent project, and we're focused on doing a few areas thoroughly before we expand. If a place you love isn't here yet, it likely just means we haven't reached it — check back as our coverage grows.
